***This article is SeekingAlpha Pro only, AFAIK***

I’m going to be trying something new for a bit. I gather that most of you have a SeekingAlpha account, especially since I’ve seen several of you publish your own articles (awesome, BTW!). From now on, I will be posting my articles exclusively on SeekingAlpha. It is a bit more effort than I would like to sync up between the two, and sometimes the editors will make changes before posting it. So in order to a) have the most recent, up-to-date article available at all times, and b) have you all experience the wonderful comments from the SA community, I will only post full new analyses there. If you are interested in subscribing to me as an author, my profile is available here.

If you don’t have a SeekingAlpha account and don’t want one, just let me know in a comment, and I will be happy to make you a PDF of my article. Obviously, that doesn’t apply to Premium articles, since those articles need to be SeekingAlpha exclusive.

The Premium article analyzing COLM (Columbia Sportswear) is available here. The stock fails 5 criteria, and is not a buy.

Good to know you’re going forward with the Seeking Alpha articles. I’ve never been a huge fan of Columbia, purely from a practical and aesthetic perspective, their clothing range isn’t as good as some of their competitors in my opinion. Anyway, I guess your analysis of them is a lot more convincing when it comes to buying stocks or not!

    Cheers

Hey, income is income. Really? I’ve been wearing their boots since high school, and outerwear for nearly as long. Heck, I just bought my girlfriend a Columbia winter jacket for Christmas! But to each their own. North Face and Vasque are up there too, but I’m growing to dislike Vasque boots fro coming apart at the seams. Columbia still has my loyalty for now.
